MOD #4

Commissioned work

Two runway shows, six designers, one evening dedicated to fashion

Nolwenn Faligot, Mégane Cossec, Mathias Ouvrard, Thomas Jan, Louisa Henaff, and Louann Guillemot will present their creations during this evening centered on encounter and artistic expression, staged by Breton choreographer Alban Richard.

Some of these designers have built their careers with major fashion houses and institutions, including Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Central Saint Martins, and ESMOD. These experiences and influences feed into distinct perspectives on clothing, textiles, and creation. Through their collections, each one explores in their own way the links between heritage, know-how and innovation, making Breton textile a source of inspiration for imagining the fashion of tomorrow.

As choreographer and director of this event, and also coordinator of all the teams involved, Alban Richard focuses his work on the transformation of a tradition, the transmission of know-how, and the modernity of these artists’ work. How can we make visible a present-day dynamic nourished by resources and experiences rooted in the expertise of the past?
