A choreographic artist, Camille Gerbeau has followed an artistic path shaped by multiple experiences and training: first graduating from the École Nationale des Arts du Cirque Annie Fratellini, he subsequently obtained the State Diploma in contemporary dance teaching, and then a qualification in Laban movement notation at the CNSMDP. He is co-founder of “Regards Dansants,” a Festival of Contemporary Choreographic Art held from 2012 to 2022 in Cherbourg, Normandy. Since 2010, he has created “participatory pieces” every year — genuine creations designed to celebrate amateur practice.
As a dancer, performer, and collaborator, he has worked with several choreographers and directors: Pascale Ansot, Émilie Gallier, Karine Saporta, Agnès Butet, Luigia Riva, Willi Dorner, Cindy Van Acker, and Roméo Castellucci; and since 2014 with Gaëlle Bourges, on 59, Conjurer la peur, Ce que tu vois, OVTR (ON VA TOUT RENDRE), AUSTERLITZ, and Guillaume & Harold.
